João Edson dos Santos is an accomplished Civil Engineer with a rich educational and professional background. He earned his degree from the Federal University of Tocantins and completed a Master’s Degree in Transportation at the Federal University of Brasilia. Further enhancing his expertise, Joao pursued a specialization in Environmental Planning at the Federal Tocantins University.
With extensive experience in both the private and public sectors in Brazil, Joao has also dedicated over a decade to academia as a university teacher. His international experience includes several years in Angola, where he provided engineering consulting in planning and project management, and conducted inspections in urban infrastructure and road construction from 2014 to 2018.
João’s notable public sector roles include serving as the Water Infrastructure General Director for the Infrastructure Secretary in the Tocantins State, Brazil. He also held the position of President of the Transportation and Transit Municipal Agency in Palmas, the capital city of Tocantins. His diverse and extensive career highlights his capability and dedication to improving infrastructure and transportation systems, making him a valuable asset to the TEGUY team.
