Our Story

TEGUY is a pioneering firm specializing in comprehensive traffic and transportation engineering solutions in Guyana. Founded with the vision to enhance road safety, optimize traffic flow, and support sustainable urban development, TEGUY is headquartered in Georgetown, the capital city and economic hub of Guyana. Our company blends cutting-edge technology with local expertise to address the unique transportation challenges of the region. TEGUY stands out as the first firm in Guyana dedicated solely to traffic engineering. Our approach is multifaceted, combining state-of-the-art traffic modelling software, advanced data analytics, and a deep understanding of Guyana’s urban and rural road networks. This allows us to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients, ranging from government agencies to private developers.TEGUY was established in 2023 by two visionary professionals who got together with the dream to improve road safety and quality. Since our inception, we have successfully completed several high-profile projects, including traffic impact assessments for new developments, road planning and design, road safety audits, and the design of traffic management systems for congested areas.
